Claire & The Keys

I served as the technical director, 3D artist, visual effects artist, and primary compositor on the 19-minute short film Claire and the Keys written and directed by Brian Ludwick. I created a custom workflow and technique that allowed 3D artists to create virtual 3D sets that seamlessly matched the look and feel of the 2D design and paintings for the film’s final climax. This custom workflow allowed the film’s cameras to move in a way that 2D animated films could not accomplish at that time. This film has been selected and shown in over 30 film festivals and has been nominated for 13 awards.
